"Glarnerhof has always been a great place to stay and to eat. The restaurant is very busy with locals for lunch and dinner. I had lamb twice that was so mild that I might have thought it was beef. The hotel is undergoing a remodel which will be done soon but I did not encounter too much trouble from that. "A lovely stay for one night! Lots of families & big communal areas with a nice patio & bar. It was a little hot & there were no privacy curtains. Communal bathroom/shower was clean & it was nice to have a sink in the room for a quick clean up. It was also nice to use your card as your key for a locker. A bit of a walk up hill from the train/bus station, but still very accessible."

"What a unique and interesting property with an amazing Staff. One Person in particular, I believe her name was Leonia, went over and above to help us in any way possible . She was extremely caring and even made us food baskets for our early morning flight as we had to leave the hotel before breakfast time. We stayed in the tower and had amazing mountains and lake view.
