Apartments in Wanora

"Comfortable modern apartment, nice view, handy to Toowong Station and UQ. Check-in was tricky (involving several platforms, filling in a check-in form and uploading photos of various documents - fiddly and time-consuming - also the check-in instruction was ambiguous on the lockbox location, so I had to make a late-night call to the host for help to clarify it) and then check-out was a nightmare, as the keycode on the lockbox had been changed (why?) and the code on the checkout instructions...

"This so called accommodation was by far the worst accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. We reluctantly stayed because we had no where else to go. From the start, the key was not available to pick up so we had to wait for someone to drop the key off and no linen/ towels were provided for 2 of the beds. When we walked in the unit was filthy, smelt of cigarette smoke, fridge was turned off and stank, there was no kettle, no cups, no cutlery and microwave was filthy. The bathroom was a bigger disaster...

"Wow! What a little gem! So quiet and relaxing and away from all the hustle and bustle yet so close to Brisbane, and pet friendly. This gorgeous little property was the perfect way to wind down after our conference in the city with a beautiful view of the lake and it's wildlife and the green paddocks with cows munching the grass. There are plenty of activities available and the caretakers are friendly and super accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning. Thanks...

"The space isn’t huge but is more than what we expected. Very warm and homey feel, staff were great with communication. Doesn’t feel like a hotel which was great."
