"For a very old property, this is a decent value for the price paid. The lobby and breakfast area are clean. The rooms are clean, but not modern. It was quiet and the bed was comfy so it met my needs. I could see that not all rooms, or areas of the property had been addresses by the current owners. Again, my room met my needs at a price that was fair for my usage."

"We enjoyed our stay, but I do wish the place was a little cleaner. The shared bathroom (upon our arrival) had small hairs all over the sink and vanity like someone had emptied their electric shaver over it. Also, the doors to the rooms, including the shared bathroom, have no locks on them. The breakfast was very filling, and Mary (the hostess) was nice to talk to."

"Only gave 4 stars because the pool was under maintenance. And my 7 year old was heart broken. We knew the ballocity was under construction. Very clean property I always seen someone cleaning something so that was reassuring! Front desk were super nice. One girl working at the Allies Place was rude maybe having an off day but we witnessed her upset banging her head on something. Kinda off putting. But overall it was a nice place!"
