"We were very appreciative that the Manager had put the heaters on for us so that we didn't enter a brrr, cold house. Very thoughtful. Everything was great! The only suggestion I would make would be to have a small "Welcome" pack containing a small milk, maybe some biscuilts, the sort of thing that would be of benefit for those people who arrive after the shops have closed. Overall, we were very happy with the accomodation & Waratah itself. Would definately stay again, if we come to Tasmania again."

"Have stayed here several times now , as usual the staff are always friendly. great meals ,very clean rooms cozy and warm The large fire in the dining are is excellent,,love the innes distillery products. really nice location."

"We arrived much earlier then expected due to dreary weather at Cradle Mountain. Nicole allowed us to put our things in the house and gave us a few great ideas of how to fill in the time until the cleaner had finished. Both Nicole and the cleaner are very welcoming and helpful. The house is large, well-appointed and very cosy, and we enjoyed our overnight stay very much. The little pot of leatherwood honey was a delightful gift. Definitely five stars."

"Tullah is a small town 30 minutes away from Cradle Mountain. The property is metres away from a cafe and a tavern. A very nice well equipped house if luxury hotels in the Mountains aren't your choice."
