Unfortunate Plight
Regrettably our stay to celebrate my Wife’s 75th birthday did not turn out to be as glowing as other recent reviews. It took us over 3 hours to get checked in starting with the access code that was incorrect. We had our time wasted because we couldn’t reach Amanda the property manager who provided the code. With help from a number of the town’s business folks we finally were put in touch with the owner who had to meet us at the guest house only to find that he couldn’t open the door either. Thanks to Nancy, the housekeeper, we finally gained access using a different code. The next point of aggravation dealt with the lack of Wi-Fi service to the internet, an item advertised as being provided. As a result the TV was inaccessible as was doing anything over the internet with my computer. It’s a shame we were inconvenienced in this way and believe we should be compensated for our loss of time and energy spent for something we looked so forward to. Attempts to discuss this with Amanda and the owner have been futile. This place has great potential but we unfortunately didn’t get to experience it. Nancy could not have been more attentive with her attempts to resolve these issues but she is not the administrator.
