Beautiful place with nice staff
The place is beautiful with river running behind property with several fire pit. Property does sell fire wood so no need to try to look for stores who has them. I would definitely recommend to use the fire pit, the scenery is gorgeous but be careful especially during fall theres lots of dry leaves around the pits that may catch fire. The room is very clean with nice sheets and clean towels and has adequate kitchen equipment to use if you are planning to do light cooking. Theres no staff in sight but they are very quick to respond thru text msgs if you have any requests, I loved Avery who helped us when we needed to change the room we booked. She was very quick to respond and eager to help us. I would definitely use this lodge again for people who worked at the property and the beautiful scenery and the atmosphere.

This is how it should be done
This is simply a great place. Rustic feel, but modern and clean and fun. Picnic area out back along the Mad River with WiFi access was one of the highlights of our week long visit too Vermont.

The room was small, but the space was very well used and super cute! Lovely decorated, it had a queen and twin beds that were very comfortable. It even had a full lenght mirror, refrigerator and closet with additional pillows. Free parking in front of the room was convenient. There was free coffee and tea at the office, and snacks and beverages for purchase. Lodge grounds are very pretty and well maintained, with the Mad River nearby and accessible. The area is quiet and has many places to eat that you can get to in a few minutes. The only issue we had is that we couldn’t open the room with the instructions we were given, but we went back to the office and help was provided inmediately. We definitely recommend it.
