"My dad and I stayed here for a couple of nights and had a great time. The cabin is unique and rustic (how I think a mountain cabin should be), but also clean and well-stocked and well-maintained. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. It’s so quiet and we especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Easy drive into Boone and close to plenty of hiking trails. I’d recommend trying to arrive before the sun sets on your first night. "
