"Unique!! Very nice 2-bedroom unit housed in an old brick mill. Very quiet. Very clean and well kept. Everything is as shown on the website. Neat town with a paved hiking trail right next to the property. Loon Lake next to property with larger Clear Lake about a mile away with hiking trails around both. Several great restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay here again when in the area."

"The Elysian area is beautiful. This was a large house on a lake and gave us the chance to have good quality time together, make breakfasts together, etc. House is larger than it appears from the outside. The new Wi-Fi there was superfast, so good connectivity. We had a good time with family!"

"My family and I rented both houses right next to each other. The set up was nice as one of the houses had a nice back deck overlooking the lake with plenty of room to hang out and enjoy the outdoors. The host was great and even brought us some fresh vegetables one afternoon from his garden. We really enjoyed our stay."

"We had 11 adults one night and 9 the second. 10 adults with 4 couples and 2 singles to shared the bunk room( bottom bunks) would be perfect. We had a lovely time enjoying the lake view outside with our morning coffee and plenty of room inside to hang out watching tv, or playing games at the kitchen table and counter. The host was very receptive to any questions or needs we had. Great stay for our son’s wedding held in Elysian. "

"The property and house were very nice. Our only concerns are the downstairs bathroom toilet has issues with backing up without anyone doing anything other than a number one in it. "This is a gorgeous property with beautiful views, thoughtfully designed and artfully executed. There is plenty of space for a large gathering - we were 17, including 8 kids ages 4 - 15. There are many different hang out areas, so you never feel like you are on top of one another. We cooked most days, and the kitchen was well supplied and functioned well. "We have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s but this exceeded all of our expectations. The owners were WONDERFUL to communicate quickly and often. We were welcomed by fresh flowers and a sweet note. "Other than having long discussion about my service dog ( no payment for service dogs, they should know that you CANNOT ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT SERVICE DOG - PERIOD ! ), front desk was friendly. Breakfast ? Well, I do like donuts but that was the only thing they offered for breakfast. Not counting cereal :) Otherwise room was clean, smell nice, comfy bed. Water in bathroom sink run rusty so they should check the pipes. "
