"Linda greeted us upon arrival. Was super helpful and amazing. The house keeper Bridget was so helpful with anything we needed. I have stayed at allof of hotels due to traveling but this one was the best so far. I truly enjoyed it so much. Hospitality was amazing. I cant remember the young lady who worked Saturday night name. But she was so helpful and did such an awesome job. Rooms were cleaned and spotless. Shampoo and conditioner and lotio were available to us in the rooms. I will definitely stay here again! "

"My daughter was celebrating her 40th birthday so her dad and I visited Washington for the first time and stayed at the Sterling House. It is in a perfectly pristine district within walkable distance to downtown. From its charming character, to the ease of check in and check out, to the amazing river view porch, The Sterling House and its host William are true gems. The pet friendly house provided our daughter and her husband the opportunity to bring their dog Kenji and she loved the fenced in backyard and the doggie bed and bowls. Parking was easy, as was any communication I needed to have with William. The Sterling House will continue to be my first choice when we return to Washington. "

"Room was absolutely spotless & new. Front desk service was great. TV wasn’t working and we called & someone came and set it up immediately. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our stay & breakfast. An elderly guest roaming the halls with her small dog at breakfast talking to her cellphone in her pocket on speaker made for interesting entertainment. All other guests were smiley and kind. "

"The staff was friendly and accommodating. I was there for my sick dad and all staff was very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Only issue was hot water temp in the shower. Didn’t have time to worry about that and it did get somewhat warm. I do recommend this hotel"
