Barbecue and relax on private back deck area or walk a short distance to a playground or a dog park. Great restaurants and shops are also just a short walk from the house.

Perfect little get away with the family!

This was a perfect spot for our family. Very convenient for travel and a great space to hang out.We were out here for a funeral and it was a nice hub to come back to after everything.

Family trip to DC

Great stay!

Mark was easy to communicate with, the location was great - easy to walk into the heart of del ray, with lots to do, and easy to get to tourism stuff in DC as well. Dedicated parking was great. The property was so cute.

Girls weekend

Nice that it had 6 rooms with either queen or full size beds. Not always easy to find that for adult trips that don't want to have bunk beds. Good location. Host was very helpful and accessible. Older home, but good value.

Sister's Get Away

We had 6 sisters staying for the weekend and everything was great. Each of us had our own bedroom but two people can easily stay in each room. Beds were comfy. I would suggest bringing slippers if you need to wear shoes because there is a no shoe rule in the house. Very pretty walkable neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.

Great home, great location!

Our host Mark was wonderful- very attentive and informative! The house is fully stocked with amenities and beds are very comfortable. Lots of restaurants and things to do within walking distance and a quick drive or Uber to Old Town! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Clean Home

My family was so pleased with this beautiful Alexandria home. The personal touches were perfect from the special coffees and teas to the gorgeous live plants throughout the house to the throw blankets on the sofa. There were so many little things that made it feel like home. Mark was so communicative and gracious. I look forward to staying again.

Our stay was an enjoyable event with a very gracious host. Even ordered us playing cards on the fly to accommodate our team building. I recommend the VRBO if you are visiting DC and surrounding area. Very walkable.

Excellent Host -- great location

Our family spent 5 days here when we came to bury my husband at ANC. It was conveniently located in a good neighborhood. The unit was very nicely equipped. The beds were soooo comfortable! We will definitely look for this property when we return to the area.

Stress-free family “reunion”

5 bedrooms with big, comfortable beds is hard to find when we travel as a family. We not only got that but very comfortable, nicely furnished common areas and a well-equipped kitchen. This was a great choice for a wedding that brought 3 generations and multiple adult couples together. Mark has set up a great coffee bar and all the other things that you want when traveling, and he’s a good communicator numerous restaurants and stores in walking distance.
