NOMA - very nice stay
It's a nice place, convenient for groceries and metro. One can barely hear the metro and train lines nearby and all the appliances are top notch.

The apartment was spacious, centrally located and fully furnished. We really enjoyed the area. The street was quiet with lots of great restaurants and stores nearby. The only we had was with the check in process. The 3rd party we rented through had a system crash a week before and we didn’t receive any check in instructions. Luckily there was a very hardworking employee on site who got us in and set up until customer service got in touch.

This is a VERY small 2 bd rm apt owned by corp and managed by 3rd party--there is no personal contact and you will be dealing with a "cust serv rep" for any problems: because we had luggage, we requested early check-in if available--we were informed that early check-in would require fees set on a sliding scale despite the fact that we were paying a substantial amount for the room- when internet/tv went down we had to call cust rep several times--after being on hold for 10 mins we're told a tech would resolve problem, and never did for last 3 days of our stay--among lesser aggravating problems a 7 digit code must be inputted every time you enter the building, use the elevator, or a different 7 digit code to enter apt; no lighting in the reading area, no shelf in shower for toiletries, etc. among bigger aggravating problems, building is next to metrorail and you get to listen to trains roaring by--location is good -15 min car ride to major areas of interest, not much in walking distance--excellent fitness center; nice social lounge although last 2 nights we couldn't get in due to "pvt party." You can do much better for this kind of money and we recommend against rental.

Minor issues-check in neglected to mention an app and send building code so initial access was challenging. The room was supposed to have three pool passes and only had two. Lifeguard didn’t want to let us in pool because we didn’t have a code to the pool gate. There were extra pillows but no extra pillowcases nor extra blankets for sofa bed. But we were able to get bedding from an office manager. There was a weird high pitched whining sound from utility closet when water was running (shower/dishwasher).

This property was okay. The condo itself was spacious and the location was great as it was right by the metro. You do hear trains at night but it is not too loud. It was missing several basics, for example no oven mitts, no shower mat, no place to put shampoo/razors in the shower. There was food debris in the hall that was there our entire longer stay so not sure if/when they every vacuum or clean the halls. There was someone at the front desk but they were not able to answer questions. For the price I expected a little higher quality and service, but overall it was pretty good.

The pictures don’t lie—if you’ve ever wanted to stay in the staged model apartment of a new high rise, this is your chance. Immaculately clean, with all essentials provided. Comfortable and quiet. If you are planning to cook, expect to purchase ALL ingredients, up to and including salt—this is not one of those vacation rentals that comes with pantry staples. The management company requires you to submit paperwork and a picture of your ID. Exactly 24 hours before checkin they provide instructions. You use number codes to access the building, the elevator, and the room, which can be a little bit of a drag. We were grateful to kind residents who often helped us out with the elevator code. It’s a doorman building and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There’s a huge fitness center and other amenities that we never got a chance to check out. There’s a local grocery store and a Starbucks one block up the street, and the Metro and Union Station are not far away.

Nice Apartment, Enjoyed our stay.
Excellent Location. 1 mile walk to the Union station Circulator bus. Half mile walk to the NoMa-Gallaudet U Train Station. This property is managed by Global Luxury Suites. Make sure you contact them on the day of Arrival and get the information about LATCH APPLICATION. You will be installing this app on your phone and will use it to open your apartment, operate the elevators and entrance doors etc. Kathy from Global Luxury suites (onsite office room # 302) called us around 3 pm on the day Arrival, checked to see if we needed any help. We didn't get the necessary emails, so she contacted the customer service and re-sent the emails and guided us to install the LATCH App. Thank you Kathy for all your help. The Colonial parking is $40/day. Right in front of the building there is an open parking for $13/day. I preferred to park in the colonial parking. The A/C in the room defaulted to 75F and were unable to lower the temperature in the middle of the night. The next day I called Kathy, and she stopped by the Apt right away and reset the A/C switch on the circuit breaker. Note: Make sure you can lower the A/C sooner than later and any issues, get help. The Apartment and the building are well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.
