"We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Kobe Suites. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. It is a well-designed hotel on the best stretch of beach in Watamu which is also part of the nature reserve. When we dined in, the food and drink was excellent and moderately priced. "

"This hotel has amazing potential and was probably once quite grand. The facilites are tired and in need of maintenance and updates. We were there out of season so it was very quiet and the staff seemed a little challenged in knowing what to do. The beach is great and the grounds are super. I would stay here again but I’d check my room and test the shower before settling on my room. "

"This was the WORST hotel experience we've ever had. 1) The beds do not have any foam so basically you lie on a piece of wooden board. Literally. We actually checked. It's the most uncomfortable surface (including couches and floor) that I've slept on. Apparently all rooms have the same type of bed fyi.
