"We loved our stay at this historic farmhouse in Culpeper. The location was perfect, halfway between Leesburg and Charlottesville and near central Virginia destinations. The listing and photos are accurate. Beds are very comfortable. First floor bedroom worked well for our family. Kitchen very well stocked, we even did some Christmas baking. Convenient to grocery stores and restaurants and parks. Yard was great for our dog. Recommended for family and friend groups who appreciate historic homes....

"With grandparents and 2 families with children, not only was the house perfect but the fenced yard was huge and spectacular. We didn’t use the hot tub, but there was plenty of good space for adults, too. We gathered for a family wedding, but the space enabled us to spend a few wonderful relaxing days with family we rarely see. Communication with Leora was prompt and accommodating. 5 stars all around! The house is large and rambling, so after gathering round the patio or in one of the dining rooms, everyone also had a little privacy. "We stayed overnight due to a snowstorm. There was someone else’s hair in the bathroom and the walls looked a little iffy. The table wobbled and had sticky red spots on it. The desk chair was not stable. The toilet didn’t flush several times and maintenance had to come up twice and then just left us a plunger to do it ourselves (which had to be done a few more times). The beds were ok. Relieved we only had to stay overnight. "
