"Alkina lodge is so beautiful and nestled right in the forest. You can see kangaroos and deer up close right outside the window. The entire place is high end luxury from the bedding, furnishings, kitchen appliances and bathrooms. The kitchen is very well appointed and has everything for a large group. We only stayed one night but I wish we had stayed longer! It is very close to 12 Apostles and we were able to get there in the morning and beat the crowds. Expedia showed this as a 1 bed, 1 bath so we were surprised to find 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Huge place for the 2 of us!! I would love to come back with a bigger group of friends and family. We had a small challenge with the check in instructions as they went to spam but the call center reps were so helpful trying to track down the info so we could get in. One tip grocery stores and restaurants close early so if planning to cook get your groceries in Apollo Bay or Port Campbell before reaching the lodge. This is a fabulous, luxurious home in the heart of the forest. Highly recommend staying here on the Great Ocean Road!"

"We had a lovely stay in the basic cabin. The beds were really comfortable and there was pretty much everything we needed provided such as towels, toaster, hairdryer etc. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay there again."

"It was truly incredible! The service was outstanding, we arrived at 9 pm and everyone we met was so nice, we had dinner made by a lady who works on the property and it was delicious homemade chicken curry and slow-cooked beef. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, the place is beautiful at night as you can see all the stars shine in the sky, and during the day you can enjoy the farm and feel like you're the only person in the place! The location is also good, 3 min from the 12 apostles, and very recommended if you're doing the Great Ocean Road like we did, I hope I'll get the chance to come back soon! "

"I just wanted a nice place to stay overnight with my own room. I got that. Met with the friendly staff, who showed me the room which was all set up ready use. It was a nice and clean place, had all the amenities and very quiet and peaceful. Easy parking and close to the shopping centre."
