"Property is nice, for all the house rules and remarks about leaving everything clean and items in their “home” property was not that clean. Oven was a disaster that required cleaning to use. Otherwise nice if you do not mind taxidermy and possible daycare with 3 dogs next door."

"This house is spacious, immaculate and seemingly brand new. It was the perfect space for our seven older adults but would be great for families with children as well. Everything you need is in both the kitchen and bathrooms. Beds are very comfortable with soft, luxurious linens. Plenty of very nice pillows. Towels are thick and fluffy. Close proximity to Polk City, Ankeny, and Des Moines, in a quiet family neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!"

"We came for the Hillbilly Hike run and it was perfect. The location was great, close to things to do but not too close, perfect neighborhood. The owner was awesome, I had to contact him because some of the girls thought beeping was coming from the room. He found it in one of the girls purses, nothing to do with the house. I am happy that we found this little oasis in Des Moines! "

The location was perfect for the activities we had planned. The neighborhood was quiet. There were several outdoor areas and we did use the one deck. "Excellent location, "bigger on the inside" house. The only drawback is there's only one bathroom, but it wasn't an issue since I was only staying with one other person. I would definitely stay here again."
