Our home:
The 2800 sqft. home has 5 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms with all bedrooms located upstairs. These bedrooms have the coziest duvets, pillows, and mattresses so you can wake up well rested. Unwind on the covered front porch while enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon drink with friends and family. Watch the big game around the 60” 4K TV in the living room, or catch up with family in the cozy family room. The outfitted kitchen has nearly every tool you need to cook for the entire family to enjoy in the dining room adjacent to the kitchen. After a long day of skiing or fishing, hang up all your gear in our breezeway. Laundry machines are available for a mid-stay load of laundry. The 2 car garage is open for you to park your car out of the rain or snow. Exiting the driveway with a trailer is a breeze since our driveway exits on E. Wausau Ave to the north, and on Park Ave to the south.
What you will have access to:
You will have access to the main house on the property, and the 2-car attached garage. The breezeway located next to the garage has a smart lock that opens to the home. This smart lock contains the entry code provided in the check-in instructions to give access to the home. There is a spacious yard to the east of the home for yard games. Please respect our neighbors and stay within our property. This triplex has two friendly long-term renters in the rear building on the property. Their building is off limits to guests. They are friendly people who work full-time in Wausau. These tenants have their own parking spots.

Wausau is in the heart of Wisconsin's breathtaking landscape. Every season offers a delightful setting for all that Wausau has to offer for your getaway. Select from a variety of restaurants, shopping options, and attractions throughout the city in our guidebook provided.
Only a six-minute drive away, Downtown Wausau offers a wide selection of shopping, dining, and local events. The Wausau Woodchucks baseball stadium is three minutes away and has baseball games throughout the summer. A family-owned grocery store and a Kwik Trip is within a mile of the home.
Rib Mountain is 14 minutes away and has the largest ski resort in the Midwest with over 60 runs. This ski resort has modern ski lifts and facilities for the best winter sports experience. During the summer and fall, you can explore the many trails and overlooks around Rib Mountain. There is no better spot to look out over Wisconsin. In the fall, Rib Mountain offers ski lift rides for to see the best of the fall color.
Sylvan Hill Park is a local county park located only 3 minutes from the home. Sylvan Hill has a snow tubing hill with hill tows, miles of hiking and cross-country skiing, and mountain biking.
Parking & neighborhood: The house is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood with neighbors on either side of the property. There is a spacious yard to the left of the driveway. Ample parking allows for multiple families to come enjoy the area. You may use the 2 car garage for parking. The driveway stretches from E. Wausau Ave to Park Ave. So if you bring a trailer, you can pull straight through without backing out of the driveway.
Transportation options:
Uber and Lyft are available in Wausau as well as the Metro Ride bus system and local taxi cabs. Electric scooter companies typically have services. The snowmobile trail is within riding distance.
Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA), Wausau Downtown Airport (AUW), Merrill Municipal Airport (RRL), and Stevens Point Municipal Airport (STE) are all local airports and have Uber/Lyft available.
- This property has two friendly long-term renters in the separate rear building on the property. Their building is off limits to guests. They are friendly people who work full-time in Wausau. These tenants have their own parking spots.
- A $30/night charge will be added to your booking if you bring a pet. Guest must disclose to the host if they are bringing pets prior to check-in. No pets are allowed on beds or furniture. Please bring a bed for your pet.
- The fireplace in the family room is not operational due to insurance reasons.
- Check in time is 4:00 P.M. on the first day of the booking.
- Check-out time is 11:00 A.M. on the last day of the booking. Please follow the check-out instructions in your guidebook.
- Please refrain from using shoes/boots inside the home. Thank you!
- Please respect our neighbors and stay within our property. The property lines are marked in the photos.
-There are two long-term rentals in the rear building. Please do not enter this building.
-Parking for guests is located directly in front of the breezeway and 2 car garage, and inside the 2 car garage. Please allow space for cars to drive pass for exiting the driveway.
-Do not dispose grease down drains.
-Do not dispose anything but toilet paper in toilets.
- Guests are required to communicate with the host.
-Ensure all fires and grills are extinguished before vacating the property or going to bed.
- Only the number of people are allowed to stay at the lodge as accepted in the original booking.
- Events are not allowed on the property. Feel free to contact Ben for any questions.
- A maximum of 2 pets are allowed to stay at the house. Be sure to bring their own beds and toys. Any damages caused by pets will be charged back to your reservation. An initial $60/night charge will be added to your booking which will count for 2 nights of pet fees if you bring a pet. An additional $30/night will be added for each night past two nights in your booking. Pet fees are $30/night if you bring a pet. Guest must disclose to the host if they are bringing pets prior to check-in.
- Pets are *not* allowed on furniture or the beds.
- No smoking is allowed inside the home. Dispose any butts in a can or bottle.
- Quiet hours are between 9:00 P.M. and 10:00 A.M.. Please respect our neighbors!
- No fires in the fire pit should exceed 4' in height. Do not accelerate fires with gas/oil/etc.
- No parking on the grass.
- Most importantly, HAVE FUN! Please feel free to share any pictures of your stay with us. We may share them to our social media or our listing, with your permission.
