As with every inn/hotel it begins with staff. Friendly and very knowledgeable about what is in the area to do.( Lots). Rooms were clean. The hot tub was great. The breakfast was more than enough. Coffee excellent. Restaurants on site were very good. While we were there 2 weddings were being held. Peeked in both ballrooms were wonderful for these events. Overall I recommend this property.

We arrived at the inn at 10 pm on Christmas eve and there was no one at the desk to check us in. Someone finally showed up after about 10 minutes and apologized for our wait. Never explained where she had been. The sink in our room didn't drain well. My husband let the gentlemen at the front desk know when we were checking out. He did not seem very concerned. Otherwise our room was very nice and clean and the lobby was lovely. We were only there overnight.

I travel quite a bit for business and I stay at the Simsbury Inn every time I am working in the area. I have stayed in most all other hotels in the Hartford, West Hartford, Farmington area and I choose the Simsbury Inn over all others. When I pull in the driveway, I feel a sense of relief. The staff are warm , welcoming and friendly. It’s nice to be recognized each time I go back. The Inn has everything I need. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate. The daily continental breakfast that is offered is first class. By far is so much better than all the other hotels I have stayed at in the area. The Simsbury Inn is the next best thing to being home. I’ll be back next month.

The hotel is ideally situated for Simsbury based events. The parking is great and the breakfast buffet is very helpful. But the soundproofing between the rooms is awful. We were woken up nightly by other guests using the toilet in nearby rooms.

I stay here every time I come to the area for business. It has everything I need. The staff is exemplary. It is so nice to come back time and time again and be greeted like I was family. I have stayed in most every hotel in the area and The Simmsbury Inn by far is my choice. I don’t mind driving the extra couple of miles.
