"My husband and I traveled to Black Mountain for a quick getaway. We stayed at this location and found it convenient. The neighborhood is somewhat run down along the edge of town. The parking is very difficult. Although there is a place right in front of this house, there was a car that is present (that appears to have been hit along the drivers side) and it never moved from the spot. We were forced to use the "grass driveway" which is very seep, narrow and overgrown with bushes. Difficult...

"We really enjoyed the cozy cork cottage. The beds were comfortable, the living area was charming and the backyard is a great place to have morning coffee or a glass of wine after dinner. Glen was an excellent host - there was coffee, half and half - even a bottle of wine in the fridge! If you want to visit Biltmore and Asheville but you don't want to stay downtown, this is a great place to stay!! We will definitely be back!"

"The cottage was as good or better than the pictures on Vrbo, and we had a delightful time. No electronic "babbling brook" generator could match the sound of Spring Creek just outside the door. Proximity to town and hiking were both great. Perfect weather helped, but had it rained we could have just stayed indoors and enjoyed ourselves just as much. Can't thank you enough, Karen!!"

"The Loverly is such a beautiful place to stay! Pictures didn’t do it justice! Up in the mountains, you may want to make sure your car has 4 wheel drive, but it was perfect! My husband and I stayed there for a week in June for our honeymoon. About half an hour from town it’s a convenient location. Brea is an amazing host! She is super great with communication and provides so many suggestions on things to do during your stay. Check in and check out are seamless and if her instruction book leaves...

"We had a great time. The children especially love the game room and the in-home theater as well as the outdoor fire pit and cornhole. Everybody loves the hot tub. "We enjoyed our vintage airstream experience at Asheville River Cabins. The setting right on the French Broad River is magnificent! The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning. "
