My wife and I spent 2 nights at WH. We stayed at the deluxe loft which was very clean and comfortable. The setting is tranquil and serene and the garden is beautiful. Mary was the perfect host. She greeted on arrival providing all the information we needed and made sure we were comfortable. We will definitely visit again.

Owner very friendly and property very cosy and homely. However, curtains in bedroom very thin so light comes into room. Quite bright in the morning so wake up early.

Great accommodation in the Somerset countryside
The White House offers a high standard of accommodation in a lovely quiet countryside location. The room was lovely, clean and well equipt. Mary made us feel very welcome and a mince pie on arrival was a nice touch. She was very helpful in recommending places for dinner. Breakfast was great - homemade jams were gorgeous. I wish the weather had been kinder so we could have walked into Wells... maybe we’ll come back in the summer!

Perfection!
We have stayed at The White House several times over the years and always found it to be excellent; the new owners have recently upgraded the décor and furnishing and now it's even better! You can be sure of a warm welcome and Wells Market Square and Cathedral are easily reached via a footpath across the fields. Additionally, the parking area is secluded and behind gates which is reassuring if you are touring in a classic car.

Amazing stay with home comforts
Stayed in loft apartment for 2 nights. Beautifully decorated and lots of home comforts, including home made cookies on arrival. Breakfast served in main house which was nice to meet other guests, and short walk in to wells. Very peaceful and lovely host. Would recommend.
