They are the very old style that you can unlock with a credit card (we know because we did it) Management should really get all the locks changed out to give guests peace of mind about feeling safe."

"This hotel is an amazing little seaside gem! We normally research everywhere that we will stay on a vacation, but chose this location spontaneously on a recent getaway. Are we glad that we did! Everyone in this family-owned hotel was exceptionally courteous and helpful. A special shout-out to Nancy, who gave us great advice where to eat and what to do in the Wells Beach area! Thank you, Nancy! Our room was immaculate and showed the love that only a family-owned establishment can. A beachfront hotel with the affordable rate that the Atlantic Oceanfront offers is unheard of. Please take our advice and stay here if you have the chance! We will stay here again the next time that we travel this way!"

My only disappointment was the heavy use of disposable, plastic cups and utensils at breakfast. I would expect a chain like Holiday Inn Express to make more efforts to be environmentally friendly in 2024."
