I recently stayed at Red Lion Hotel Wenatchee City Center and had a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location of the hotel is perfect, with easy access to local dining and shopping. First, when we got to the hotel, they tried to overcharge me until I showed them proof of price upon booking. The only highlight of my visit was the gentleman who helped me while checking in. The room was well below expectations. The toilet was not clean. There was a hole in one of the “blankets” if you can even call them that. The shower was awful; the head was rusted and water shot out in all directions and the water temperature kept fluctuating from hot to cool. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The elevator was also not functioning upon arrival, so we had to haul all of our luggage upstairs. Then, to top it all off, we paid $7.95 for a breakfast we can get for FREE at any other hotel around. They didn’t even have a water dispenser for drinking water in the “buffet”. I’m not generally one to complain, but this was quite literally the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I’m fairly well traveled. I have never complained about a hotel, but I felt it necessary for this location to hopefully save someone the grief or maybe encourage the hotel to do better. I will not be returning to this property. I could look past the outdatedness if everything else would have been up to par.

For the price this hotel is great. I stay here quite often when just stopping for the night while traveling to another destination. Wish there was an elevator though. Lugging my suitcase up and down stairs is a bit of a pain. Staff is always helpful and polite!

Rooms are really spacious, staff are friendly, breakfast is decent. The only negatives for our stay was there were not enough cribs available even if I requested this ahead of time, and the bathtub faucet was hard to open but other than that, everything else was great.

I have stayed here many times over the years so I have a soft spot for this older but well designed place. I like the double sinks (inside and outside the bathroom). The carpets are worn and the doors a little dinged, but it was offered at a great price. The hotel was quite full but apart from some enthusiast little kids running around in their ski boots, it was pretty quiet. Very comfy bed, good heat, nice amenities.
