"No towels included! Does not say that anywhere in VRBO listing. They wanted 25+ Euros for towels. I said no and they said fine dry off with the window curtains. Very poor customer service. Described as a “chalet”, it’s little more than a cheap ikea looking small shipping container. The home pictured is not the one we received. I’ve never had an experience this poor with VRBO. Can’t fit luggage in bedrooms. Shower is high gloss and very slippery. Look elsewhere."

"Das Haus wird ab Abril 2023 vermietet. Also alles noch neu und intakt. Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig und hübsch. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Gute Qualität, zB Rösle-Töpfe. Feintuning fehlt noch etwas. Eine Knoblauchpresse oder eine Parmesanreibe hätten geholfen. Fahrradvermietung sehr nah auf dem Gelände. 3 Terrassen, je eine nach Osten, Süden, Westen mit jeweils doppelflügeligen Terrassentüren. Sehr schön, birgt aber auch das größte Problem. "Wir hatten zu dritt einen Kurzurlaub mit 2 Übernachtungen gebucht. Umgebung, technische Ausstattung des Hauses, Sauberkeit, Betten....alles eine glatte 1 mit Sternchen ! Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag unsererseits wäre eine Kaffeemaschine und eine Thermoskanne. Nur mit einer Senseo-Maschine 3 kaffeedurstige Urlauber zu versorgen, ist etwas mühsam ;-)"

"Nettes Häuschen! Für eine 4 Köpfige Familie etwas zu klein, aber da habe ich mich selbst verschätzt. Für die Zeit haben wir das gut hin bekommen, denn es gibt viel zu sehen in Holland. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Eine Waschmaschine, samt Trockner ist vorhanden. Die Terrasse und eine große Rasenfläche vor dem Haus, war super. Die Nachbarn alle sehr nett. Deutsche Fernsehprogramme gab es drei. Alles im allem waren wir zufrieden, was soll man mehr erwarten :-)"

"We loved it, very cozy and so easy to walk all over Hoorn. One comment: I am very short (150cm) and everything was too high for me to reach: the kitchen shelf, the bathroom hooks, the closet rack, the vanity mirror, etc. May i suggest that you provide a “grabber” to facilitate hanging up towels, putting dishes away, etc, for us vertically challenged guests? We loved our stay here at Huysjes Rive, and will happily refer your tiny home to friends! Bobbie and Jim"

"This is a usual review. I had a small cough traveling to and checking into the hotel. About 3 hours later, I became really sick. Confusion, trembling and a mild fever. I checked online and was probably either the flu or COVID. I put on my mask and told them I felt sick and to bring me breakfast outside the door. I got some food and a COVID test kit. It was positive so I spent the next few days in my room. I felt better in a few days. The room was neat and clean but there were no exterior windows...

"We chose the property for the castle look. When we arrived we found a very clean and spacious room. Breakfast was fantastic and highly recommend it. It is so close to many restaurant options. Lots of places to sit and just enjoy right outside the hotel. If there is one negative, it is inability to park on site. The Parking isn’t far though and quickly forgotten once settled into your room. We stayed here by chance and scrolling but very happy we did!"
