This unit will have about a 36 hour turnover between guests. The calendar will be blocked according to this. There is a 4-6 night minimum late spring and Summer through Labor Day. Travelers desiring to stay longer than 10 days will need approval prior to booking the property. The Glacier House can be booked online. through VRBO/Expedia.

May 2023, Guests take note - The Glacier House has undergone a few awesome upgrades. This is primarily on the main level of the unit and includes, a new central entry into the unit, newly constructed entry room with ample closet space and area to leave shoes, coats, etc., newly constructed office/internet area, new paint, new flooring. The double twin bedroom setup is now in the downstairs area. There is a new gas stove in the basement/rec. area.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

Glacier House offers a simple, serene escape. This peaceful retreat is surrounded by lush, green forest with majestic views of Glacier National Park’s snow capped mountains stretching into Canada from the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Wake up to a breathtaking view of Glacier National Park from the master bedroom. This tranquil home provides visitors an opportunity to refresh the soul, or relax and play with loved ones . Glacier House is ideally located in the town of West Glacier, MT. This property is within walking distance of West Glacier groceries stores, post office, Canadian Visitor Information Center, a premium rafting company Glacier Raft Co., fine dining at the historic Belton Chalet, and the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Amtrak stops at the Belton Train Station about a 1⁄4 mile walk from Glacier House for those venturing by train. You can walk to the Middle Fork of the Flathead River crossing over the historic Belton Bridge, now a walking bridge, into Glacier National Park. Even with being so close to West Glacier amenities, the Glacier House sits back in a secluded, peaceful neighborhood. You are surrounded by the woods, which keeps it quiet. The property sits high enough that one will have epic views into Glacier National Park from the outside deck or from the rocking chair with your cup of coffee. The interior of the house is well appointed with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay without any extra clutter. There are 3 levels of the house, each with their own private bathroom. The main floor is of beautiful, rustic Montana design, with a large open living/dining area. The kitchen is equipped with wood chopping block countertops and a vintage range/oven. The basement has been designed as a large rec area with a ping pong table and back access to the lower patio. The Glacier House will provide you with a relaxing, comfortable stay with easy access to all the fun activities this area has to offer! By nightfall you will be on the deck looking at the views of Glacier rehashing the day's experiences with your friends and family.

Great place for a family vacation
The house has room so that people can have there space or spend time together. With multiple sleeping arrangements on each floor helps to navigate staying with people who have mobility issues. The house was also well stocked for cooking there but also close to multiple eating options.

Wonderful Property
I could have stayed in this house forever! I loved the design and how it was set up. We spent much time on the balcony overlooking Glacier National. It was perfect! The Glacier Highlands restaurant at the bottom of drive was an added bonus. Would love to visit a gain in the snow! Highly recommend!!!

Close to the park but tucked into the woods.
Our family really loved the stay at this house. It’s very close to the West entrance and it’s also tucked into the woods. We hardly noticed any neighbors. House is very clean and had a lot of big windows with a nice view of the trees. Also, surprised how roomy the house was. The ping pong table was also a nice addition. If you like privacy, this is the house for you. No complaints, everything was just as described, even better.

Serene and Beautiful Glacier Getaway!
Glacier House, it’s location and the management and/or owners are all wonderful! Words and photos don’t adequately describe how lovley this home is. The view from the main floor is stunning. All communication and inquiries were prompt and helpful. Beds and furnishings are all very comfortable and the home is well appointed for cooking meals. We greatly enjoyed our family vacation in Glacier park and loved the opportunity to rent The Glacier House. We highly recommend this home! You’ll realize you hit the jackpot when you book and arrive at The Glacier House! Thank you Kyle, for helping ensure our visit to Glacier was all it could be and more! We hope to return someday!

Glacier NP Heaven!
The home is open, spacious, clean, and bright. I could sit on the back deck and enjoy that view all day. We loved the private and forested location that's just a short walk to the little town of West Glacier with its gift shops, basic grocery, and rafting company. It's just about as close as you can get to the park entrance. There's a train station just across the way and you can hear them from the home, but it was never a problem. There's a little restaurant at the bottom of the driveway that serves great fruit pies if that's your thing. (That became a nightly routine for us.) We also discovered a beautiful walking path that takes you up one side of the river and down the other with amazing views of the water and surrounding forest. The week we visited there was smoke from distant forest fires obscuring views of the mountains and one of our kids got sick so we werent able to do all the things we planned. But, the house was such a great place to just sit and relax that we still had a great vacation. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great location, great view, nice house
Beautiful view in a quiet location just a minute away from the west side of Glacier. House is as advertised and is very comfortable. The few things I would recommend improving: The Q bed is soft and jiggly. The K is very hard. Sort of like Goldilocks, it's hard to find a bed that's decent. To be honest, the twin beds were best. The kitchen is not as well equipped as we typically expect in a VRBO. It would be helpful to have a few more pots and pans and basic cooking necessities like salt and pepper, sugar, a few common spices, some oil, things like that. It's not a big investment for a home and it makes a significantly easier trip if you can count on some basics. This is especially helpful since groceries are pretty far away. One more thing to note if you're renting in the area: West Glacier has train tracks running through it. Trains run frequently. Few are blowing their horns, so it's not really a big deal. Don't these things stop you. Location, location, location. And view!

Majestic Views and Cozy Home

Overall very comfortable but no dishwasher
The house feels newly renovated, clean and comfortable. It is about 10 minutes walk from the west entrance of the park. Though FYI, it is about 3 miles walk from the entrance to the closest shuttle stop. If you are planning to cook at home, pay attention there is no dishwasher. There is some larvae on the ground floor, but I assume it could be easily treated. Overall, we had great time at the house, and the combination of quality and price is reasonable.

Welcoming House & Fantastic Private Location
The Glacier House was more than we could have asked for while spending family time with our grown children. We all had plenty of room to store our things and comfortably be together or spread-out. My son has been to Glacier NP a few times and was very impressed with the location! We loved the views and it feels very private even with a few, quiet neighbors. We would definitely stay at the Glacier House again.

A beautiful home in an excellent location for West Glacier. We had 5 incredible autumn days of hiking and exploring during the quiet shoulder season and loved to return to the home in the evening to cook dinner and relax. Well appointed and clean.

Location is great, just outside the West Glacier entrance. Plenty of space, kitchen stocked well, and we loved the ping pong table. Could have had a few more puzzles, games or books to read at night but still worth the 5 star rating.

Excellent location.
Great cabin to use as your base. You're right at the beginning of Going to the Sun Road. Only issue was slow internet. I know nobody comes to Montana for the internet, but my son had some classes he needed to log into and watching a movie would be nice on rainy days.

We had an exceptional experience staying at the Glacier House. It was accurate as described. Location convenient, clean with all needed essentials. Just a minute to the west entrance and easy access to Hwy 2 and the route around the park to Many Glacier and Two Medicine.
