"The historical nature of the property is what first drew me to this bed and breakfast. It was built by the grandson of George Washington. The saving of it and the ca1914 house next to it was a noble task and well worth the effort. A fully furnished kitchen, clean bedroom and bath with a jet tub, porch with rocking chairs, and relative proximity of downtown shops and eating made this a great choice. "

"The Air was SET at 72 degrees. This was entirely too warm for us. We were not happy with not being able to control the room temperature. Everything else was very nice. I might consider staying again in the cooler months. Never again in the summer."
