The bed is on a mezzanine, however comfortable and I was pleased there was a fan I could use to keep me cool on one of the hottest days of the year. "Had a lovely 5 days at this beautiful house, which is perfectly situated to explore West Sussex. We loved the character of the buildings as well as the pool and it was great fun looking after the chickens. Lots of space outside and very well equipped in the kitchen."

"Filthy kitchen, filthy fridge, smelly microwave. You could not use any of the crockery unless you washed it first. The crockery was put back in the cupboards unwashed. There was no hot water. The kitchen cupboards had sticky handles and I felt simply unclean being there. I booked 6 nights but left in the morning after the first night. I’ve seen reviews of this place a year old echoing my comments so the owner takes no notice of reviews. Beware. "

"The hotel room was clean itself but looked on one of the lampshades there was some very unpleasant stains on it to say the least. The beds was very comfy along with the pillows and place felt clean overall. Also maybe a few less scratches on the wall, could maybe do with a lick of paint. Also there was a music event on till 1am and they gave us 1 extra hour on checkout which wasn’t really needed. "
