"Lovely cottage and much nicer than the photos show. Quiet location. We didn't have a car and were able to travel to and from the cottage by bus from Rovaniemi but note that this does mean carrying all your food with you as there are no shops nearby. Well equipped cottage and a fantastic wood burning sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"We stayed at this lovely and very accessible property during February and it was very quiet in the town during our entire stay. I am not sure it’s like that around other peak times like Christmas so keep that in mind. We loved the location of the property less than a mile to a grocery store, restaurants, public transportation, and the ski slopes. The property was well equipped with everything you need. We’d recommend it for single, couples or families. "

"We had a very nice and relaxing time. Our son didn't understand why this house is rented out to other people. He would stay there forever. :-) We were there in the low season in autum, which is probably the most “boring” time in Lapland. But this house was a unique place despite the gray weather. "We really enjoyed our stay at Sipukka. The place is as described, very homely and well equipped for a stay in the quiet, fresh air of Lapland. We took advantage of the saunas combined with dips in the lake, did yoga on the dock, used the boat with an electric engine for picnics on the lake and took strolls in the forests around to look for the many reindeer. They sometimes come for a visit to the property, too. It was super-relaxing and exactly as we hoped it would be."
