"This guesthouse was wonderful. We opted for a shared bath but never had an issue with it being unavailable. The rooms are very spacious & shared kitchen has a full size fridge to use as well as coffee & tea provided. We enjoyed the 3rd floor social room and the convenient parking and walk to shops & restaurants. There is a delicious bakery nearby we went for pasties a couple mornings....YUM! "

"Shared kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed for meals. One bathroom per floor of 3 rooms so there were people from other floors coming to ours to use the bathroom. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was hot!"

It is however an incredibly old house, which means you can hear everything - made us very aware of any noise we made - talking, walking, etc. Very glad we stayed here as was a very unique property, just something to keep in mind as felt very aware of any sounds we made. Just few bits that might need attention or improvement are The room didn't have a litter bin, there was one in the toilet but a small one. The toilet door could have been better, as the current door is just a sheet of wood with sliders fixed at top, Perhaps one on slider hinges on the bottom would make it more stable. There was also no handle on it. But overall no...
