"Everything about this charming home and its hosts was an absolute delight. Nestled atop a hill, you get lovely views when seated in multiple spots around the house. There is a wonderful 360° viewpoint a short walk from the home, and its central location makes it a breeze to get anywhere by bus or car. "Almost everything was fantastic. Just a few suggestions...Purchase a refrigerator with a working ice machine and filtered water to drink. The tap water had a sulfur taste to it. Separating the trash seemed to be a big issue. I suggest you label the trash bins to avoid confusion. One last thing...put a "notice" on the surge protector that ii MUST be on for the internet to work. It was accidentally tripped when plugging in an adapter and it was not discovered for awhile."

"The house was as described. Very well appointed. Spotless. Quiet with a relaxing view out the window. We saw the northern lights right off the back deck- amazing! Check in process was very easy. Great location for heading to the north, the Golden Circle, Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Multiple locations for natural soaking baths, one just a few minutes down the road. The house has bedrooms on both sides with the living area in the middle so great for multiple couples or several adults ( my party)...

"This is a very comfortable, spacious home. Very quiet. Everything you might need is here. It is, however, quite remote, 30 minutes on an unpaved road and 63km from the closest grocery store. I would recommend it as a good place to get away and relax, rather than a place which is convenient to sights. The owner is very responsive to questions, she was great."

"We had a great stay even though the floor hadn't been swept at all. I found a broom and swept it. When getting ready to leave (after two nights) looked under the bed and hadn't been swept there either. But, on the positive side - nice place to stay - the Northern Lights were great, amenities (fridge, washer and dryer and location) were great. "We had a wonderful stay here. We enjoyed the full kitchen and the hot tub. Our only complaint was the directions were not clear and we ended up at the neighbour's house. We found the rental afterwards, but had no code for the property in advance. The directions said to go to the main house for the code. We had no idea where the main house was, we couldn't see any other homes. One of us ran to 3 people on horseback riding by, who conveniently had the code. We would just suggest sending the code...

"This hotel room was located in the heart of Reykjavik and met all of our needs. Please be aware that the balcony is shared amongst all rooms on that floor. There is no front desk staff at all. All communication is via phone or email. The VRBO listing said 2pm check-in but I was notified via email the day of my booking that check-in was 3pm. This is irritating after traveling overnight. They also provided us the incorrect door code two times to get in the building. They were quick to answer...

"The accommodations were excellent. Great location. However, if you’re going to charge top dollar, I would have liked to see a few more amenities. For example, there should be tissues & paper towels available. And the bathroom towels should be replaced. They felt old, not soft & not very absorbent.
