Newly remodeled with all new appliances, a hot tub, and massive game room. If you have not experienced a sunrise in our atrium, with a view of the bay in the distance, there is nothing better! With 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths, a huge open kitchen, large backyard and downstairs family room, 12 people including kids and pets can stay comfortably.

We're also right next to Loge, a surfer-themed hotel with a cafe serving food/coffee, surfboard, wetsuit and kayak rentals, and live music (on Fridays)!

As a dog-friendly space, you have access to a huge backyard. Please note that it is not fenced in. A grill on the balcony and patio seating extends the indoor living space outdoors. We also have a hot tub, 5 spacious bedrooms (2 king beds, 2 queen beds, and 2 sets of twin bunks), and an open floor plan on the main floor connecting the kitchen, living and dining areas. Perfect for a large family gathering or a getaway with friends! There is washer/dryer access as well as a deep freezer (keeping our fishing charter guests in mind). The kitchen is equipped with a Kuerig and coffee maker, hot water kettle microwave, Ninja single-serve blender, dishwasher, and plenty of dishes/pots/pans/cooking utensils to accommodate up to 12 people.

Other things to note
We do charge a pet fee of $15 per dog per night in addition to the standard booking fees. Please let us know at the time you book how many dogs you will be bringing and we can send a request for the total pet fee due.

Please also note that this unit is part of a triplex, which is why we’ve listed it as an apartment here and not as a house. While the space is large and private enough to feel like a whole house, it is attached to 2 other units with tenants that rent long-term. The parking lot outside the unit is shared with the other tenants. They are very polite, quiet, respectful and keep to themselves.

Good Value For the Price
There is a lot of potential in this space. We loved the retro styling. It is great for families and dog friendly The atrium was our favorite spot especially in the morning as the sun was rising. It has a lot of games and activities to enjoy when you are not on the beach. It has a nice outdoor fire pit and a great deck. I am not sure how well it will accommodate 8 people. The living room couch is old and uncomfortable and the heat in the living room didn’t seem to work. Many of the light fixtures were missing light bulbs. My biggest concern was with the garbage. The outside bin was overflowing when we arrived and wasn’t due to be emptied until after we left. All in all we had a great time. It looks like this is a work in progress and the owners are adding improvements. The owners are easy to contact and responded to our concerns. It is just a few minutes from the marina, Westhaven State Park and the observation tower.

We will stay again!
This was a great choice. There is a spacious living room and large sofa. Also there s a glassed in porch , larger than the living room. The house was. Very clean . It is an authentic retro experience. I was born in 1851 and felt like I went back in time seeing a punk stove . The cabinet pulls were authentic yo that period. Looked like the fin shape oncars in the 50s. The location was actually IN. Westport, which is not true of all the available airbnb's. I plan to book there again.

Winter getaway
This place has many personal touches from fall decorations, snack basket and coffee to soft sheets and towels. It is an older apartment that's located in a run down part of town. Overall, it is priced appropriately - all that space ( including a lovely atrium) is a good deal. There were some electrical issues while we were there, the owner responded in an appropriate time frame. The only problem was that the onsite help never checked in to see if the intervention worked. Our first day was a little frustrating not knowing if someone had tried to help and not wanting to bug the owner if it was taking longer than expected. In the end we asked for the circuit board to be reset 3 times and were without power in the kitchen and bathrooms for 8 hours. Not a huge deal since it was daytime. The rest of our stay was uneventful.

crabbing trip
The crabbing was awesome and close by. The house was spacious just needs a few updates and make sure there is something to cook crabs with and maybe give guests a heads up when things are not working so they can be prepared before they get there. It was okay overall just a lot of issues that need to be addressed.
