"This is the perfect location with lots of space. My family and I were quite comfortable staying here. The only drawback is that the unit isn't the most child friendly as there is a steep spiral staircase we didn't know about until we got there. Additionally, for whoever stays in the room with the queen bed, privacy could be an issue as guests staying in the room with the king bed will need to pass through the room with the queen bed to get to the kitchen downstairs. "The cottage is spacious for 2 people. It is very comfortable and easy to navigate to and from in a quiet neighborhood. It is well appointed. We chose it to have access to the south and west. The resident lab is friendly and likes head scratches. "

"We were in town for a family wedding and the location was perfect for getting around. It’s about a two mile walk to downtown Newport, which we did walk, or it was easy to Uber as well. House was well equipped with pots pans etc, plenty of comfortable beds for everyone and towels. Hosts communicated well and we had a fabulous visit. I would stay here again. "

The house is light and airy inside, which helped when we had a few days of rain. The location is secluded in the woods (be careful, we did find ticks on us) but a short drive away from the beaches. "This was a great rental for our stay in Newport! Although it might look far from downtown Newport, it was less than a 10 minute drive to the city center. Having a lockbox for the key was great when staying with a couple friends we could leave the key for each other. I would recommend adding a full length mirror to the property if possible, we would’ve liked to have one while getting ready for a friend’s wedding."
