"Location of the house is within the grounds of the owners property so is private and not overlooked by neighbours. Quiet and peaceful. The cottage is quite old inside and is in need of updating and modernising. We heard mice in the bedroom but this is to be expected as the house is in woodland. Overall a pleasent stay."

"This house was wonderful. It was built in 1612 but modernized on the inside with some old architecture touches. We fully enjoyed our stay here as the house was comfortable and Sandra added many personal touches that were above and beyond expectation! I would highly recommend this place as it’s very close to the downtown area but also quiet."

"Last review was from 2020. Unfortunately time has not helped. In May 2024 we encountered serious mold smell as we entered the apartment building, extending to the apartment. We had a serious allergic reaction to the mold and could not stay in the apartment. We left without unpacking and booked another hotel elsewhere. Neither the Owner nor Expedia through which we booked would refund the rental cost even though the apartment was uninhabitable to us."

"Wir hatten ein par tolle Tage mit Familie und Freunden. Das Haus hat genau zu uns gepasst. Die Wohnung ist neu renoviert, teilweise etwas oberflächlich aber im groben und ganzen sehr schön. Es sind nur Kleinigkeiten, eine Tür klemmt, ein Bild und ein Spiegel hängen schief und im Gäste WC funktioniert der Wasserhahn nicht. Wenn das Haus für 8 Erwachsene vermietet wird sollte auch Besteck, und Tassen für 8 Personen da sein. "

"This is a typical German guest house. It is family run. The desk is only open until 8 pm but check in can be arranged later if you make arrangements. It is an older property that has not been updated. That being said, the WI-FI was great. I did not see an elevator. A BIG bonus is free on site parking. It is slightly outside of town but close enough to walk. If you want an affordable, comfortable stay in this wonderful town, I would recommend it."
