"We loved the hotel as it was in a remote area, away from the hussle and bustle of city life- it was like stepping back in time. The views from the hotel are amazing Hotel was clean, the staff were welcoming and very accomadatinhg, and went out their way to help you. Bar food was good but im not sure the eaton mess was worth the money, a small glass filled with cream and some small pieces of meringue topped with 1 strawberry...could do better. "This was a brilliant hotel for dog walkers. Had fantastic facilities such as shower for the dogs after a long muddy walk. The retreat was a lovely addition for you to go and unwind and enjoy a coffee after a long day. Tori who worked the reception was a lovely lady, very welcoming. Rolo our dog loved seeing her. Added bonus was when Rolo got to meet Santa. Would highly recommend this hotel"
