"Superb all round. Warm welcome, comfortable bed with good linen, milk/ tea/ real coffee/biscuits provided, very good kitchenette facility, very good shower. Very clean. Quiet but just off high street with shops and restaurants, less than 5 minutes walk to Kumar’s restaurant. "

"Nice comfortable clean room set in a beautiful wooded location on a hillside. Lots of birdsong to sit and listen to on the attached deck. Very nice beach within walking distance. on-site restaurant has wonderful setting and ambience, food is good but not great. Pauanui is a little too quiet for my taste... only one road in and out, and only 2 restaurants open in the evening (other than the property), but I wouldn't ding the hotel for that."
