"This was the second stay at this cosey cottage . Perfectly situated for walking into town and along the river . Beds comfortable with quality bedding. Courtyard garden was clean and tidy the frount door needs attention due to sticking and really having to push very hard to open and toiket seat is to small for pan which is a little off putting . The private Parking was easy and a bonus in Topsham . Would highly recommended this cottage . cold). Only o ) "

"Very pleasant converted cow barn. Dog proof patio area but all hard surface no grass. Very friendly owners always willing to assist us old folks. Steep stairs though. Beautiful local countryside to explore."

Kitchens have just been refurbished, main house one wasn't quite finished but not a problem. Love the outside space too, enclosed garden for the children and dogs. The utility room was a must, having 2 small children with us and it was great to have the hot tub to jump into after a busy day. "The staff at the hotel were very helpful and mothing was to much trouble. The receptionist even guided us in person to the pick up point for our taxi. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel is right in the middle of the shops and is a sones throw away fron the christmas market. I thought the bar prices were high two large wines were £26 "

Lovey hotel

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Before arrival, I requested a bouquet of flowers and some balloons to be arranged in our room, and it was beautifully set up just as we hoped. The room itself was lovely, we stayed in a castle valley view room. Waking up to a breathtaking sunrise made it even more memorable. The Sunday roast was exceptional, honestly, the best we’ve had anywhere, and we’ve tried many places for roasts! Breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of variety. We even requested a few items not on the menu, and it was no trouble at all. A truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!"
