This charming cottage is the perfect place to slow down & enjoy the area's peaceful surrounding. For those looking to explore all the UP has to offer - you are within minutes of trails, fishing, skiing, waterfalls & much more. Whatever you desire, a retreat to our cottage is the perfect way to recharge, reconnect & make new memories! EV charger, sauna & Hot Tub included. **Comfortably houses 6 adults. Sleeps 8 for those just looking for a place to rest your heads.

This house location is central to the many outdoor adventures people flock to in the UP.  Perfect for family fun, couples’ romantic getaway, ski/snowmobile retreats (ride right from the house to trails only couple blocks away), fisherman/water sports, hunting, hiking, ATV rides, snowshoeing and many other activities for up to 8 guests! Pets welcome!

The home is located in a quiet, quant, old mining town surrounded by trees, privacy and wildlife. Start off your day enjoying the sauna or soaking in the hot tub, Finish your day under the stars in your private back yard by roasting marshmallows, with complimentary hot cocoa & apple cider, around the firepit.

Cozy Cottage is fully equipped to be your home-away-from-home. This updated 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom offers 2 bedrooms on main floor, 1 large attic bedroom suite upstairs with private 1/2 bath, a hot tub and a sauna on the screened-in porch in back. The master bedroom is connected to the Jack & Jill full bath.

The kitchen is furnished with appliances including refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove, newer countertops, pots, blender, crock pot, pans, dishware, glasses, silverware, pantry items, seasonings and of course, all you need for coffee each morning! Enjoy adult beverages? Wine glasses, cocktail glasses and a cocktail mixing set are also provided. Meals can be made in our fully stocked kitchen and shared together around the dining room table, or take it to the back patio for an epic barbecue. If cooking isn't your thing, there are 2 great restaurants less than a mile away!

The living room has a 60" smart tv with a Roku. The main floor bedrooms each have a 40" smart tv. All beds are made with fresh, clean linens before each stay including bath towels.

You'll find many other comforts throughout the house. There is a large selection of DVDs, puzzles, books and games for a cozy night in. Prefer the outdoors? A fire pit with chairs, patio table, charcoal grill, grilling accessories and marshmallow sticks is available April through September. The sauna and hot tub are located in an enclosed porch.

The Chargepoint EV charger is located on the side of the house at the end of the driveway. Bring your adapter and enjoy charging while you sleep! Driveway on property can park up to 6 cars or 3 -4 truck/trailers in driveway and in front of house, depending on size.

This home is located in an amazing spot. The neighborhood is very nice with friendly people everywhere. It is a short drive to many of the best waterfalls and of course, the Porcupine Mountains. Well maintained and stocked. A very pleasant stay and would return for our next Eastern U.P, stay.

Quiet and peaceful
This place had everything needed and was located on a quiet street. Comfortable queen bed downstairs, and nice backyard to sit at. There was a GREAT sub/pizza place called the yooper diner 4 minutes away and had the best subs we have ever had! Porcupine mountain close, and Paul’s restaurant on the way there had delicious walleye. Looking forward to visiting again!

Cozy home
The house was clean and all the cupboards and drawers were marked so we could find kitchen utensils. There was also plenty of things that made our trip more convenient like coffee filters and syrups, spices for cooking, ketchup, mustard, butter and things like that.

My kids loved the large assortment of DVDs and it was a treat for them to peak into the attic bedroom. They slept in the bottom beds of the kids’ bunk bed rooms. Appreciated the coziness and warm at home feel of the cottage.

We enjoyed this community and the area is beautiful! The location of the property is close to some neat attractions! The property itself needs some updating. The house was very musty when we first walked in but we opened the windows and the smell was gone quickly. The house was clean and cozy and had all the essentials and we would venture back in the future.

Perfect for a snowmobile group
First off....The owner is very responsive to questions., and easy to work with. The house itself is not very large, but the use of space is very good. It worked perfectly for our group of 5 guys. Trail access was very easy, and the parking was great! We had 2 trucks with trailers, and 5 snowmobiles in the driveway, with room to spare. I will likely rent here again!

The property is in an old copper mining town. Very quiet area. Close to beaches, rocks, and sand. Very clean house. Great waterfall (Bonanza Falls) just down the road in another copper mining ghost town area. Very close to the Porcupine Mountains and the Lake of the Clouds. Well-stocked kitchen with lots of spices. Threw ribs in the crock pot to have after waterfall seeking. New charcoal BBQ grill with charcoal. Great bed, and hot tub! Absolutely no issues with my stay for 4 days. Highly recommend this cute house. Centrally located for a nice time rock picking and waterfall seeking

Wonderful base for skiing
We really enjoyed our stay and everything was wonderful. There were a lot of thoughtful extras that added a special touch: lots of spices, a selection of teas and hot chocolate, a broad selection of dvds, robes in the downstairs bedroom. Very nice. A couple of things to note: the stairs are very steep so only for the young or young at heart. The ‘bunk room’ is open to the kitchen, but it is nicely laid out. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans and other cookware, you could cook as elaborate a meal as you want. They had a sweet ‘pet package’ with sheets for furniture and other stuff for your pup ( we are between dogs but this would have been perfect for our last pup). Overall this was a total gem and we will definitely be back!

Fake eye lashes left on the kitchen counter (wondered about cleanliness of other areas). Hot tub shut down right after our king day hike. Manager blames us for running washer at same time. Says there was a note. Was NO note but 20 other pages of information including 5 things to fox the hot tub. First to change the filter. Messed with instructions for 2 hours. No partial refund. Poor run down area including this house. Only one restaurant for many miles.

The house needs a bit more updating. It has a musty smell to it and that turns a person off
It worked because we’re not high maintenance people. I was disappointed when I saw the house and the neighborhood. If I had young kids I wouldn’t have let them outside alone. The kitchen and bathroom showed what the house could be like. It was a lot of money for what we had. I’m sorry.

Perfect location
We had a great time and the location is perfect! The cottage was clean. Just a few little things to know. The carafe for the coffee pot is too short, so you have to hold it up while coffee is brewing. One of the ceiling fans was very loud. We didn’t any smoke detectors. The DVD player doesn’t work. Other than that it was great! Please let us know if we are mistaken on any of the above. Thank you.

Good property for access to the UP area. Property could use a smoke detector and at least 1 carbon monoxide detector. An upgraded mattress would be from our standpoint a good investment.

Great dog friendly location
We wanted a short getaway that would accept the dogs. This was perfect. Very dog friendly spot and area. Close to Lake Superior, Porcupine Mountains, and Lake of the Clouds. Modest house, homey. Very well stocked kitchen and bath. White Pine MI is a very small community without many services, which is why I didn't rate location as excellent. But, we came prepared with what we needed and enjoyed our stay.

Nice get away
Clean ,cozy, laid back, very comfortable. Lots of things to see in the area and good places to eat nearby. Waterfalls and lake Superior minutes away. Had the best time. One Night Stay
Spent one night here during a 10 day camping trip. Close to the Porkies. Used for a hot shower and washing clothes. House was clean, updated bathroom and kitchen. House cooled down nicely with wall unit and ceiling fans in main bedroom and living room. Lots of games and movies for a rainy day. Washer needs updated, could only handle small loads. Quite neighborhood. Instructions well written out in house binder, included local eats and maps for area activities.
