Perfect homebase for site seeing as it's centrally located in the BH.
***Don't forget the fur babies because we are PET friendly***
This is a unique experience you won't want to pass on! It's difficult to capture the sheer grandness and spectacular craftsmanship of the rooms in the photos. As guests walk in we often hear "WOW this is SO much more than what the photos look like". Out of over 20 rentals, this is the one guests often request to extend their stay or express their disappointment in having to leave. So as much as we try, it's nearly impossible to capture just how big the rooms are, how tall the ceilings are, and the amazing attention to detail throughout. It's one our guests truly need to see in person to get the full experience! Guests frequently describe it as mind blowing, stunning, jaw dropping, or a true diamond in the rough. This building is also family owned and managed so the love and connection we have to The Jones Building is evident in how we care for and decorate it.
The Jones building is located on Meade Street in Whitewood, SD and was originally "The Jones Hotel", where Calamity Jane frequented on her travels during the Black Hills Gold Rush in the early 1900's. If you know Wild Bill Hickok, you'll know his beloved Calamity Jane! The only known photo of Calamity Jane was taken right out front of the building (and there's a story behind the photo you can read at the condo)
