Tideway is a comfortable 3 bedroom house with private parking for 2 smart or 1 medium/large cars. The beach is just on your doorstep so it's perfect for a fun family holiday. The house boasts a shower room downstairs and family bathroom with separate bath and shower cubicle. upstairs. The beautiful garden is a great entertaining space with an outside eating area and separate sun patio.

You check in using a key box code. I am however local to the area, so if you need anything or have any questions, I am only a phone call away and a short drive!

The beach is a stones throw which means you can come home for lunch and pop out for another swim after! Walk along the promenade and you will find the Harbour and town at one end and Tankerton Slopes at the other. Whitstable Castle is only a 2 minute walk and has a great park and grounds to explore and have a picnic. The town has an abundance of restaurants and boutiques to try some local delicacies and go home with some beautiful souvenirs.

You have access to all areas in the property.

Off the hallway you will find a light and airy open plan living room and dining table & chairs. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine and tumble dryer off this. Downstairs you will also find a convenient modern shower room with WC and basin so you can wash all the sand and salt water off after a relaxing day at the beach. The big garden is perfect for soaking up the sunshine or eating alfresco.
Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and a 3rd bedroom with childs bunk beds. The family bathroom is also on this level and has a bath, perfect for soaking in after a day of exploring, a walk in shower and a WC and basin.

There is off street parking for 1 car and there is free street parking on Tower Hill, Northwood Road and Tankerton Road. The nearest paid parking is Beach Walk car park. You can view the charges on the Canterbury City Council website. Street parking can be limited in the high season but once you have parked up, you are close enough to walk into town, beach, shops etc.

You can also visit the 'Just Park' website to find out where to park in Whitstable.

There are frequent buses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury. You will find bus stops along Tankerton Road, Harbour Street, High Street etc.

The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. Whitstable Train Station is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre.

Whitstable Taxi services are available for short fares or airport runs.

The nearest airports are in London and the nearest Ferry port is in Dover.

Perfect UK beach holiday
We chose to holiday in the UK this year, following the birth of our first grandchild in November. The house was perfect for our needs, allowing the three generations of our family to stay in one property. Location was ideal for both the beach and the town. The outdoor living space was well used. Great communication with the owners around checking in etc. All in all, great value for money, I would thoroughly recommend.
