Quiet Cabin with Beautiful Views.
We boated from Huntsville to these secluded little cabins just outside of Chattanooga. The property manager was very helpful and assisted us dock and undock our boat. We used the supplied canoe to explore the Tennessee River Gorge and hike Racoon Mt. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

much needed time away
My husband and I were able to take a spontaneous trip and found this location. We were looking for a slow pace, relaxing, get away from everything. This is vacation to the cabins did not disappoint. If you would like to find a rustic, secluded, simple time then this is right where you need to be. The water is beautiful, the birds are chirping, and the fish are jumping (and biting). You are literally footsteps away from the water. If boating is more your speed don't worry Chuck has you covered. There are several types to choose from there on site. You definitely need to get away to this small peace of heaven. Thank you Chuck for your hospitality. Bill, Milo, and myself will be back in the fall.

50th anniversary getaway
This cabin was perfect as it was isolated and cozy, away from the city life. The dock is just feet away from the door where we could walk out and do fishing. It was a great spot and would definitely recommend if you are looking to unplug from the hustle and bustle and unwind.

Great place for a weekend getaway
We made these plans on a whim just a few days before and were very pleasantly surprised where we ended up. Chuck and Brad were so welcoming and wonderful. We were able to bring our dog and she ran around and played with their dogs. The rental comes with a boat rental so we all went out on a river adventure. The cabin is super cozy and private. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and there’s a washer and dryer which was an unexpected bonus. Chuck warned us and I’ll echo it: bring groceries with you. It’s a long way to the closest store, which is also a good thing if you’re prepared for it. The only criticism I have is that the kitchen needs a light in it. Hard stop. We’ll be back soon for the autumn colors.

Perfect Place to Get Away From Everything
I absolutely loved our stay at this little cabin in Chattanooga, the river was literally feet from our cabin and so serene. My 7 year old bathed nude on the front porch while watching fireflies in the trees (absolutely magical). They had canoes and kayaks we could use included in the cost and Chuck gave us some great places to visit while we were staying as well. The owner and property manager were amazing and so accommodating, the cabin was very clean… everything was absolutely perfect. I also read a review that the A/C didn’t keep the cabin cool which was absolutely false, there were days the temp reached 92 degrees while we were there and the cabin stayed perfectly cool. Great cabin, hosts, and experience 100% recommend!

Ac doesn’t cool the sleeping area. Poor layout makes cabin uncomfortable. Rent 3 days get 4th free isn’t true . Oh the owner Chuck has a list of what your expected to clean. Lol Everything but the sheets. Lol

Very nice property, very clean. Great views quiet and pretty much exactly what I was looking for when we booked the trip. If you are looking for just a small cute cabin to get away for a short trip in TN this is the place. Will be even better when the Pool is completed. I would definitely come back when in the area again. Matt

Socially distant log cabin
Fantastic tiny log cabin #2! Beautiful mountain view! On the gorge that connects to the river, shallow enough to watch deer and their fawn walk across. Swimming, fishing and boating are just walking distance down the property. Owner lives near by and responds quickly to texts/calls.

MISREPRESENTED- NOTHING SHORT OF FALSE ADVERTISMENT!
My husband and I rent form home away 2-3 times a year, WE HAVE NEVER LEFT A NEGATIVE REVIEW....I really don't know where to start. To begin with IT IS NOT SECLUDED. There is a shack and a camper directly across the water. There is an old boat banked directly by the cabin. The owner lives within 100 yards and other cabins are with in eye and ear shot. The shower is not in the cabin. You have to go out on the porch and in another door. The room where the shower is has no heat, and isn't even fully enclosed. There is no kitchen sink, you have to go out on the porch to wash dishes or dump anything out. The cabin is much smaller then it appears. There was 2 wooden chairs and a round table. THAT IS IT. We had to sit on the double size bed to watch the tv, that was also small. The electricity to the cabin was a wire form the owners house strung over tree branches. The "jetted tub" on the front porch is not useable. I ran ONLY hot water and it filled it up about 1/4 of the way before the water turned ice cold. The check out policy is ridiculous. I am used to taking out the trash, putting the dirty linens in one place. He requested the microwave and small refrigerator be wiped out, the cabin and porch be swept, any "finger prints" be wiped off, dished be washed dried and put away, the garbage bags be replaced in addition to the routine procedures. the bathroom consist of a small toilet and sink the size of a football- not exaggerating. There is a window cut in the bathroom door so if you are using the bathroom someone could look in the window and see you. Lastly, the drive there was awful. There is no way you could drive it safely at night. We left first thing in the morning, thankfully we found somewhere else to stay. This place is nothing the add says it is. We have never had such an experience.

Had fun acting like fisher people 🤔! Very relaxing by the fire listening to NATURE! Bring extra blankets Knife for cutting meat Jumper cables- thanks again Chuck!! 🤦‍♀️

Perfect peaceful spot for an easy getaway in the Tennessee mountains
We only had a couple days left at the end of the summer, and this turned out to be the perfect spot for me and three of my children ages 8-13. We live in Florida so I was looking to be tucked away in the mountains and near a body of water. And that's exactly what this was. Access to a wide stretch of the TN river from the inlet behind the cabin. Beautiful, well-built cabin, cozy as can be and you can tell someone who pays attention to detail is taking care of this lovely place. Gorgeous views. Great fishing. My son caught a little bass right off the dock on the first day. Many excellent hiking spots up and down the river within minutes. Also enjoyed having the fire pit and grill outside, loved sipping coffee on the porch while taking in the stillness of the natural surroundings in the morning, and the outdoor bathtub is a great touch which we enjoyed. The four of us slept comfortably (youngest loved the loft bed). There's a shower and laundry room in a separate part of the cabin which was very useful to have. The owner is wonderful too. Incredibly thoughtful and gracious, he made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. He was great with the kids and was absolutely key in encouraging my youngest to try out the kayak -- which she ended up loving and of course is now the most enthusiastic about kayaking. Speaking of which, loved having access to the kayaks (canoes are an option too) which we took out daily. There's a little beach spot during low tide on the opposite side of the TN river which became a favorite kayaking destination for us. It's a scenic but long and windy road to get to the cabin from Chattanooga so once you're there it makes sense to stay put. Of course, without children that may not be such a big deal. For us, we found it easier to do our Chattanooga touristy agenda on the way in the first day and the way out on the last day. We are looking forward to getting back as soon as we can, bringing the rest of the crew and renting two of the cabins. I can't recommend highly enough.
