Rural gîte surrounded by fruit trees

This charming cottage in Wierre-Effroy is ideal for a family or a group. It can accommodate 5 guests and has 2 bedrooms. It has a fenced furnished garden for you to enjoy and relax to the maximum.

The nearest restaurants are 200 m away. Forest lies 5 km from the stay if you wish to spend a day out in the nature. The local grocery store is 4 km from the cottage.

Electric heating is provided for your convenience. This cottage offers children’s bed and high chair for the little ones. Table tennis table and boules court are provided for recreational purposes. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed on the stay. Parking and bicycles are available.

Two mountain bikes are stored in the first outbuilding, just before the one where the bins are to fetch bread in the morning or for a more important walk.

The guest can check in between 4-6 PM and checkout between 9-10 AM.

If you are traveling with 2 families, you can also rent house FR-62720-02, located 50 meters away.

We rented both houses with 4 people and 2 dogs - and spent a very relaxing time (end of Sept-beginning of Oct 2023). Both are very well equipped, you did not have to take anything with you. Julien was a very attentive and friendly host from start to finish.

Cher Julien, Comme le temps passe vite : cela fait déjà une semaine que nous sommes rentrés à la maison. Nous avons passé de bons moments dans votre ferme. Avec notre chien, nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis à l'aise dans cet appartement confortable où rien ne manquait. La magnifique région dans laquelle vous vivez a été une vraie découverte. Entspannter Urlaub an den Deux-Caps
Wir haben zu dritt mit Hund einen wunderbar entspannten Urlaub verbracht. Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer traumhaften Landschaft. Es liegt inmitten de Natur. Ist sehr gemütlich und landestypische eingerichtet. Es gibt tolle Strände für ausgedehnte Spaziergänge, kleine und größere Orte für Besichtigungen und Einkäufe und gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Wir haben all das und vor allem die Gastfreundschaft des Vermieters und der Franzosen generell sehr genossen. Wir kommen wieder :)

Heerlijk huis, het begon al gelijk goed met de zeer gastvrije ontvangst door de eigenaar (een regionaal biertje stond koud) en Julien besprak de vele mogelijkheden voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. In de week die volgde hebben we zeker gebruik gemaakt van zijn adviezen en hebben ontdekt wat een prachtig deel van Frankrijk dit is. Met het weer hadden we geluk, uitzonderlijk goed voor eind augustus/begin september, fijn buiten ontbijten, aan het begin van de avond een aperitiefje op een bankje bij ondergaande zon. En dan nog op 200 m een perfect restaurant, ideaal!. We hebben genoten, lekker uitgerust (goede bedden) en veel gezien. Een aanrader. Merci Julien.

Mooie en volledig uitgeruste gîte (tot haardroger en mixer toe). De volledig omheinde tuin was ideaal voor onze twee honden. De sympathieke gastheer Julien zorgde voor een kleine versnapering bij aankomst en was goed bereikbaar bij vragen, maar liet ons onze privacy. Een toplocatie om even helemaal tot rust te komen en te genieten van de prachtige omgeving.

Mooi en gezellig zeer rustig gelegen huis met grote hondvriendelijke tuin. Binnen een uur rijden is er heel veel te doen en te zien: prachtige natuur, leuke dorpjes en mooie steden. Nog geen 5 minuten lopen van het huis ligt een geweldig restaurant.:L’ Eau à la Bouche. Uitstekende gastheer die voor een goede ontvangst zorgde en gedurende ons verblijf goed bereikbaar was. Sehr schönes Haus mitten auf dem Land und im Grünen in völliger Ruhe mit eigenem Garten. Der Vermieter ist für Fragen (auch vor der Anreise) unkompliziert erreichbar und kümmert sich. Die Gegend hat landschaftlich viel zu bieten und die Côte d'Opal ist ganz nah. Fußläufig gibt es ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt, Dankeschön!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in einem sehr ruhig gelegenen alten Haus. Zimmer sind sauber und der Aufenthaltsraum im Erdgeschoss ist sehr groß. Die Wendeltreppe sollte man nur ohne Wein gehen. Der Garten ist abgeschlossen und bietet für Hunde einen guten Auslauf. Wir werden bestimmt noch einmal kommen. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett.

We had a wonderful stay here, two weeks with our 4 year old son and dog. We loved the garden, everyday we played games outside and also had dinner under the umbrella. - Beach days at la plage Boulogne sur Mer. - Croissants, baquette en flans, delicious at bakery Le Fournil. - Lunch at Place Dalton in the city Boulogne, visit l'eglise Saint Nicolas and walk around the old city wall. - Notre Dame de Boulogne, impressive. - Jeu de Boules, football, ping pong, badminton and a picknick in the garden and drink a glass of wine in the relaxing chair in the sun. - Musee Batterie Todt. - Our son loved Eurolac in Ardres. - Very good wifi in and around the house. Julien, thank you very much for our fine vacation and for the cold drinks and flan on our hot arrival day. :)

Dit vakantiehuis ligt op een heel rustige plek, met veel privacy, op het terrein ...
Dit vakantiehuis ligt op een heel rustige plek, met veel privacy, op het terrein van een charmant landhuis. Wij werden zeer vriendelijk onthaald met uitgebreide uitleg over de omgeving, en voelden ons direct welkom. De omgeving was verrassend leuk, we zijn hier een week in de herfstvakantie geweest. Hoewel het weer niet geweldig was, is er voldoende te doen, bijvoorbeeld wandelen op de prachtige stranden bij Les Deux Caps, of in de duinen bij La Slack en Ambleteuse. Ook het schitterende aquarium in Boulogne sur Mer is een aanrader voor minstens een halve dag. De omgeving is groen, veel kleinschalige landbouw, en behoorlijk heuvelachtig. Je kan in het dorp heerlijke kaas kopen bij de ambachtelijke kaasfabriek, en er is een uitstekende bakker (er zijn fietsen bij het huis, en dit is prima te doen op de fiets). Voor andere boodschappen zijn er grote supermarkten in het dorp op 5km. Het huis is prima voor een gezin, met comfortabele badkamer, een wasmachine, en prima bedden, en de verwarming krijgt het huis snel warm als het buiten koud is. De keuken is vrij klein en eenvoudig, maar alles werkt naar behoren. De grote privé tuin is heel fijn om te badmintonnen, tafeltennissen, etc. Echt een aanrader voor een vrij onbekend, maar erg bijzonder, deel van Frankrijk.

Aankomst: tja.....Niemand aanwezig; alleen doordat wij zelf een e-mail stuurden ...
Aankomst: tja.....Niemand aanwezig; alleen doordat wij zelf een e-mail stuurden om onze aankomsttijd te melden, vernamen we van de eigenaar dat hij er niet zou zijn. Moesten toen ook nog vragen waar we de sleutel moesten halen: zat op de deur. (Kregen later de indruk dat deze vriendelijke man behoorlijk vermoeid was en wat rommelig). Wel erg leuk dat er sap, water en een pruimentaart klaar stonden. Leter kregen we nog appels. Huis: de kamer vriendelijk informeel, wel veel ditjes en datjes en deels verouderd meubilair. Keukenhoek erg onhandig. Deel van het bestek was vies. Enge wenteltrap met stukken zónder leuning of koord. Slaapkamers goed maar gescheiden door dun wandje met kieren in de balken (dus geen privacy); matras toe aan vernieuwing; moltons niet fris, die om de (goede !) kussens roken naar de vorige bewoners. Fijne ruime badkamer rook helaas naar riool en douche heeft nu toch wel veel plekken met kalkaanslag en o.i. wat schimmel. De stoffige verwarming (wordt binnenkort vernieuwd) brandde prima; o.i. is het huis uitstekend geïsoleerd en dus ook geschikt als winterververblijf. Locatie: prima. Leuk bij zo'n echt Frans landhuis. Eigen lap gras aan een klaterende beek. Directe omgeving verrassend heuvelachtig. Côte Opale mooi en leuk.

We werden super vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen door Julien de beheerder. Er stond een heerlijke pruimenvlaai en appelsap en een fruitschaal vol appels voor ons klaar. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien, netjes, schoon. Heerlijke rustige landelijke omgeving. Prima restaurant op loopafstand voor als je even geen zin hebt om te koken. De Opaalkust zelf is ook prachtige omgeving. Zeker de 2 caps, en mooie plaatsjes zoals Wimereaux...

Mooi huisje op een rustige plek en van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaar Julien is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.We waren erg verrast over de mooie omgeving. Er is veel leuks te doen en te zien in de omgeving. En dat op zo’n (relatief) korte afstand van Nederland. We hebben er nu twee weken van onze zomervakantie doorgebracht, maar het lijkt ons leuk om hier ook nog eens is in het voor- of najaar terug te komen. Kortom: een aanrader!

Wir wurden herzlich vom Gastgeber mit Kuchen und kalten Getränken empfangen und in alles eingeführt. Die Unterkunft hatte Charme und war gut ausgestattet. Insbesondere verfügte der große Garten über vielfältige Möglichkeiten der Nutzung: Federballspiel, Tischtennisplatte, Liegestühle, Tische und Bänke mit Sonnenschirm. Der voll eingezäunte Garten konnte somit von Kindern, Eltern und Hund gut genutzt werden. Positiv war ferner die kurze Distanz zum Meer einerseits und die Nähe einiger Städte andererseits.
