"we had 4 families that enjoyed excellent time in Grey Havens. The house is huge and lay out is perfect for 4 families (one family stayed downstairs which is less luxury). The living room is splendid and open like a mall. we had great time cooking and dining together. 3 big & luxury bedrooms with own bathroom which is nice. Can I praise the kitchen? it might be the one of the best VRBO with high quality cooking pans and pots . They are all healthy cast iron or stainless pans, not scratched teflon coated pans. Two big fridges definitely helped our feasts. we spend lots of time launch kayak and paddle boards from the private dock that is easy walk from the backyard. St Joe bay is full of fun. we caught fishes from kayak, picked up crabs, scallops, crunch and shells from the sandbar area which is just a few minutes paddle from the dock. we certainly did lots of snorkeling near the sand bar. About 10 minutes walking across the street, we used the deeded boardwalk to walk to 'American bay' side beach, had blasts. Mind you, kids enjoyed the hot tub on the deck!The other unique thing is we enjoyed sunrise from St joe bay and sunset at the beach. views are stunning.Overall, thanks to the owner for renting this out, I would give 6 star if possible. A few suggestions: plants are a bit overgrown near the gate to the dock; swimming pool needs some cleaning; dock ladder had a screw broken from rust."

"We loved Wine Down! Great location on the Cape, private, clean and fully stocked. We enjoyed the pool and easy access to the beaches and the state park. Perfect for a large family and especially if you are bringing your boat and a few cars. "

"My wife and 4 children absolutely loved our stay at Hartley Haven. The house is essentially brand new. Incredibly clean, high-end appliances, great bathrooms/beds and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze. The views were incredible, and the covered pool was perfect for young kids. They supplied beach chairs, pool toys, a crab net and even small flashlights to find crabs at night. This was our first time staying in Cape San Blas after staying in Destin, San Destin, Rosemary beach for years. A few tips - there are two general stores less than a mile away that have all the essentials needed but if you want groceries, I recommend bringing them or picking them up in town. The general stores have adjacent ice cream/coffee shops which are great, and Hunt's seafood is excellent. Lastly, this is of no fault to the owner of the property, but the beach erosion is significant and there are a few broken wooden poles sticking out of the sand which could cause issues. During high tide you cannot see the poles but at low tide you will be able to see them. Hopefully, the beach personal who maintain Cape San Blas beaches can remove these potential hazards leftover from the hurricane. Our crew walked down the beach to the right, and everyone had a blast all week. Hopefully with the new government grant to fix the beach, the beach erosion/beach will improve, but this house/property/pool was fantastic. We will definitely be returning. 5 stars!"
