Beds were comfortable, location was perfect for touring main Lincoln attractions in Springfield, and the home from home feel was much appreciated. "Everything was great with the room. Easy walking to many Lincoln attractions including the Lincoln Presidential Museum and the Lincoln Home. Well appointed kitchen - had everything we needed. Only issue was outside their control - many trains pass quite close by and they blow their whistles at every intersection all times day and night. Did impact our sleep to some extent. Otherwise everything was great."

"Home was nice and clean. Host responds quickly. For fur parents there’s not many places to walk your dogs but there are dog parks near by. The back yard is large and secure enough for dogs to roam. The grass wasn’t mowed in the back other than that no other issues. "

"The house worked out perfectly for our family weekend away. It was within 10 minutes of everything that we did while in Springfield. Each bedroom has a bed and then there is a blow up mattress (which the kids loved). We would stay again."

"The Douglas House was the perfect place for a birthday meet-up! It feels like a well-loved and well-lived in home away from home–almost like visiting grandma ion the 80s! There's plenty of space, comfortable living areas and beds, and it's close to a beautiful park, convenience store, and the Capital. We will definitely stay here again!"

"The location is perfect for Springfield. So many places in walking distance. Word of caution..if you have any disability this apartment is difficult to access. There are 37 steps with no elevator access. This limited our up and down. Unfortunately, as well the stove was inoperable as well. We are flexible travelers, so we were able to work around, The actual apartment is really nice. "
