"The Tru hotel was very trendy. The lobby is very impressive. Everything about the hotel felt very clean. I loved the lemon + sugar hand soap and body wash. I'm usually very sensitive to smells, so the fact that I really liked it is saying something! I appreciated that when I asked about local places to eat, I was given a list of restaurants and even a coupon for one of the restaurants, which I put to use. I liked that they had a water fountain that had a place for me to refill my water bottle....

"Friendly staff, check in process was quick and easy. The room was not smelly like some rooms at pet-friendly hotels. The white bed linens and towels passed my ultraviolet light test. There were no stains and in good condition. The furniture surfaces and appliances also passed the ultraviolet test. The toilet in the bathroom, however did show signs that it WAS cleaned with a detergent, but not completely wiped away. I did not find this a big deal since the floor, sink and tub were spotless.
