"Great location in a historical building. Walkable to grocery and the lake/river tourist area. The building common area is a bit dated but look interesting if you like historical building. The apartment is spacious and modern. Big fully equipped kitchen, full size fridge. Nice Tereace. The bedroom with a bathroom are on the ground floor. there is an AC in the bedroom but not cool enough, only works like a fan. The AC upstairs is better but not enough to cover the living/dining/extra bed area....

"We stayed here for two nights before our flight home. Was a nice location to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas. The beds were very comfortable. "

"This apartment is absolutely lovely. Neighborhood is quiet and just a quick drive to downtown Lucerne. It's also truly walkable (if you can do uphill!! 😅) and there is public transport. VRBO didn’t send me the correct check in details but the host responded to my message with everything I needed to know very quickly. "There seemed to be some confusion over our room we tried to rectify it straight away especially as there was no light in the bathroom, but no one was at reception desk. So was sorted next day. The room was changed and was more like what we had booked, it was clean but basic. Im not sure I’d go back there again. On Expedia it said you could get food at an additional fee. No such service. If I’m honest I was disappointed with it. "

"Lumen apartments are great. Very nice parking, bed, shower, kitchen. The only complaint was a drainage smell that was coming out of the kitchen sink. We couldn’t figure it out while we were there but I need to mention that management responded really quick to all my emails or phone calls and offered to send someone to check the smell but we were out all day and only come to the apartment to sleep so we were able to tolerate the smell for a little bit. "This was a great place to stay. So affordable and in a great location. The bed was comfortable and the room had just what you needed. (There was even access to an ice machine for crazy ice-obsessed Americans.) Even though it was in a busy spot of town, it was totally quiet in the room. I was able to store my luggage on arrival and after checking out until my train that evening, so I saved about 20 CHF in locker fees. I would totally stay here again."

Perfect location for all things Lucerne

"Walking distance from train station. Located in a very accessible area of Lucerne. The room was quite large and very comfortable. Lucerne is an extremely walkable city. As a city though, it did not feel like one. This hotel has a bus stop right outside the doors. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Lucerne."
