"It was close to Talkeetna and everything we needed. I felt like I was in a 4 star hotel and the bed was more comfortable than mine at home. Jana was very gracious and left water, beer and snacks in the fridge. The only thing we missed was a bigger coffee pot. Would recommend this cabin if you are staying in Talkeetna."

"BAIT AND SWITCH! From New Sweet Little Cabin, to a room in the basement! Except for a text shortly before my arrival, the host, Regina, did not communicate that there had been a change. I arrived expecting to be in my own private cabin. Instead I was led through the hosts house, down some stairs to a room in her basement. This was totally unacceptable. "This is a cute cabin with a microwave and small dorm size refrigerator. There is seating in the kitchen which overlooks a wild area with a walking path. The bedroom has ample storage cubbies and the bathroom was furnished with full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It was extremely clean and quiet. There was a nightly bonfire with s'more roasting. An excellent accommodation for a peaceful retreat while exploring the Alaskan frontier."

"This was a great spot to be off the beaten path, and a good place to chill after hiking and fishing. It is in a nice rural setting but still fairly close to amenities. Having coffee available for us was nice. There are just some basic cooking supplies, but we didn’t plan on cooking much anyway. Host was super responsive, and she had great communication with us before and during our stay!"
