We needed an overnight stay for an early start (4am) to the airport the next day. We stayed on a Saturday and when we arrived there was a wedding reception ongoing. On check in the lady on reception acknowledged our need for an early night and found a quiet room for us away from the wedding party. Room was clean and quiet. The Bulls Head pub (10-15 minute walk) is ok for food and the hotel is a 10 minute drive to the airport. All in all a goog start for the holiday.

I like the classic, high quality build,, with solid wood doors and furniture and a good bathroom with a bidet. It's an older property, well preserved and spacious. I didn't get a great welcome from the taciturn receptionist though. No 'hello' or smile. Her usual manner or a bad mood?

Lovely comfortable room after a long flight into MAN. The receptionist was pro functionary to a fault and the lobby environment was welcoming. The hot breakfast was also pro functionary and did its job, but have had better at other hotels. Would I stay again? Yes I would
