"We have chosen to stay in Hotel Shamrock for our 46th wedding anniversary because of its central position and a wonderful feel of yesteryear (we also stayed here in 2018). We were upgraded to Nellie Melba room. A lovely gesture on the part of hotel staff. The room was so spacious we could dance a night away here. "We choose Quest Central Bendigo as we have stayed there numerous times and have always found the staff and facilities to be good. On this occasion we did not have access to two queen/king beds but rather only one and two single beds which did make our stay more uncomfortable. Also our granddaughter suffered terrible bruising after tripping on the landline phone cord which draped on the floor and hitting the very sharp corner of the coffee table.
