Wasn't entirely sure the elevator was safe, the lights in the stairwell flickered like crazy, and there was a loose floor tile in our room. "If you love anything Victorian this is the place for you! The woodwork was exquisite! We had a lovely stay. Barbara was a wonderful hostess and made us a delicious breakfast! Fresh fruit with whipped cream. Lemon poppy seed muffins, raspberry kuken, ham and cheese omelets, OJ, coffee and tea! We enjoyed chatting with her and finding out about the history of the house!"

"Few days ago I paid $210/night plus $50 valet parking in a “fancy” hotel in Indianapolis, what a waste of money. For $63 in American Motor Inn I got the same bed size and comfort and much better sleep. The location is safe, quiet and they have parking. The young man at the reception is kind and friendly. Great customer service. Rock Island is a very beautiful place and in few minutes drive you can visit Davenport, Iowa. We’re definitely recommend this motel and we’re planning on coming back...
