"Overall we had a lovely stay. The location cannot be beaten and is just around the corner from the market square. Parking is not so convenient and we did park about 5 minutes walk away and had to pay but it is a reasonable price. The bed was comfortable. We had an issue with the coffee machine which was quickly sorted via text as there are no staff members present on the property. We knew about this before arriving. There was a strange smell which at times could be over powering, like a sewage/...

"Check in easy. Room was fine bed really comfortable. Bathroom was spotless and shower really good. Carpets could have looked better and some paint missing on the walls but other than that all good. Received vouchers for breakfast at hetty bells just down the road. Staff there very good and friendly. Food was fine. "

"I felt like visiting family. Lorne House and the hosts Bob and Liz have really created that aura 'home away from home'. The cozy and warm room, the welcoming and personal service, the fresh and delicious breakfast, the small but informative chats, and much more. It was an amazing experience.
