"The property is on Great Ocean Road in the heart of the Lorne beachfront. It has easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the ocean. Surprisingly, it is quiet after 9:30 p.m. in January—a very family-friendly area. The staff at the motel were very friendly. The room was spacious, with added touches of silverware and real wine glasses. The finishings were a little tired but it did not detract from the comfort of our stay. "

"This place isn't the Hilton BUT it is a great, honest, clean and convenient place for anyone looking to stay. The staff left you alone but were available if needed, the location is amazing, the noise is minimal and the rooms are comfortable and homely. We would happily stay here again if we return to Lorne. "Stayed in No 3 Riverview family cabin. The positive is it had a nice balcony facing the river. The negatives, no windows had any locking mechanisms so anyone could have slid the windows open while we were away,cabin had a strange almost urine smell,terrible water pressure in the shower and ants around shower/vanity,mattress on bunk bed are very soft foam and can feel the slats underneath when laying on them, Apart from that it was adequate "
