"Didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Was on Sunday night and there were food trucks and music. Room was nice and clean and cheap. Bar staff were a little overwhelmed with the amount of people and would have been nice to light the wood fire"

"Stayed here over the long weekend, and loved the house. House was very clean and welcoming, beds were comfortable (and the electric blankets were even left on for us) Hosts contacted us before we arrived to see if we had any questions, and were next door if we needed anything. Lovely bowl of fruit on arrival, and some homemade honey to taste also. Thanks for letting us stay 😊"

"Bootmakers is cosy, warm and full of character - rustic, quirky, full of vintage curios and surprising discoveries. Owners have thought of everything guests could possibly need, including ample breakfast provisions and pantry staples. Located in the centre of the lovely little township - with gastropub and shops a short walk away, and a short drive from the wonderful Brae restaurant. Would love to go back when the weather is warmer to take better advantage of the large courtyard out the back...
